[BIOGRAPHY]

AGAINST THE GRAVITY is djent/modern metalcore band from Myanmar. Formed in 2020 by vocalist, frontman Nay Htet Soe Moe. The band currently consists of vocalist Nay Htet Soe Moe, guitarist M Gam Ja Aung, guitarist Augustine, bassist Lin Pyae, Drummer Dave.

In 2022, AGAINST THE GRAVITY released their debut single, “5 MINUTES EARLIER”. The track featured Volant Crony and was sung in both Burmese and English. The local audience responded with incredible encouragement, propelling the track to hit status. Riding the wave of their newfound popularity among young listeners, the band returned in 2023 with a fresh release titled “UNDERRATED”. This time, the lyrics were penned in English—a bold move signaling their global ambitions. The band’s determination to break boundaries and reach international audiences became evident.

A total of 5 single tracks were released between 2022 and March 2024. After the release of their single track “REVEALED”, the entire band moved to Bangkok, Thailand. In April 2024, they signed with the Thai record label BLACKAT RECORDS. In June 2024, the band released the title track of their upcoming EP, “FAILED TO REMEMBER”.
